Tundralances - 1052 Early Spring by Logical2u

Map Description:

Bugged save from http://www.bay12games.com/dwarves/mantisbt/view.php?id=495

A quick glimpse at what's going on for people not willing to spend 25 minutes waiting for the collapse to resolve itself.

Point of Interest: Embark wagon

( 1052 Early Spring → 1052 Early Spring )

This is what's left of the two embark wagons (this is a reclaimed fortress...) after the cave in. No spoilers on this map, but it's a bit of a mess right now! - Logical2u

The HTML5 map viewer is currently in Alpha mode - I'm actively trying to develop new functionality.

There should be many very obvious problems with the viewer; please check the Issues page to notify or comment on the most egregious problems to help me prioritise. The most common will be Loading... with an error in the browser developer tools console. e.g. RangeError: Offset is outside the bounds of the DataView. Feel free to report a problem with a link to the problematic map or point of interest.

Also I have no idea where the magma came from.
If you go up a Z-level from the wagon, you can see the down-slopes of the mountains... It's like, the magma sea exploded outwards...

I'm not sure where, but I'd love to see this show up at the wiki or something as a bit of comic relief or something.

Problems?

Do you only see a blank space?

Don't have Flash?
You can download the compressed map file: 2010-04/logical2u-Tundralances-region21-1052-1.fdf-map but you will need the .NET version of SL's DF Map Compressor to convert to the .PNG image format.
