Map Description:

This was an interesting year, in that I have simultaneously finished one of the most important parts of a working fort and lost more dwarves in the year then I have leading up to this point. One of these was a legendary weapon-smith, but I've got a second one already so whatever.

I like the tower cap farm, it has a very cave like feel to it

Δ 19. Mount Slaughter
So, I got my first sizable migrant wave in a while... I raised the pop-cap up to 65 dwarves 3 years ago, but only attracted single immigrants. This much needed labor was promptly massacred by Dark Elves (ambushers with crucible steel equipment and a preference for ranged weapons). I'll need to sally out and kill these guys off soon, but my 6-dwarf military is down two soldiers already (also thanks to D-Elves). - Razin

Well, now I can finally start making and weapons armor for my troops... once I find iron, tunnel to the marble, make glass (used to make crucible steel, which is slightly better then steel in Dig Deeper), ect. Fortunately, my first two moods in this fort were both weapon-smiths (one of which is now dead), and I got an armor-smith mood halfway through the last year. - Razin
Δ 12. More Graves, First Tomb
Three more dead caravan dwarves were interred here this year. While collecting them, Dark Elves ambushed and killed one of my legendary weaponsmiths, who's tomb has been carved to the south. The graveyard will have to be expanded once I get around to recovering the massacred migrants. - Razin
