I've noticed my framerate drop significantly as I've mined out the future Citadel's base. (Embarked with consistent 95+ FPS, currently flitting around 50-70. It's dipped as low as 15 when I got simultaneous a caravan, ambush squad, childsnatcher, and kobold thief.)
Hence, a good old-fashioned Dwarven Atom Smasher with which to wrestle my stone count back down to four digits. And, if later need arise, my food and booze count back down to three. (I'm currently sitting on a stockpile of 2000 booze and 1000 prepared meals. My fields have been fallow continuously for over a year and a half now, with no sign of stopping.) - Sigma

Yup. I'm holding off on more elaborate shenanigans until I've finished the megaproject. Which could be awhile, given that I'm (trying to) limit my dwarf count.

Worst tileset I've seen to date. Favorited nonetheless, because this fort gives me ideas.
