I'm taking a different approach with this map. I'm planning more long term, and hopefully I'll get enough wealth to atract a King.
I'm not going to crack open the demon walnut until the King is safe in his quarters, so no peasant Kings for me.

I'm using the savok tileset. It was designed for low-res monitors, but I like the look of it.
I'm having a hard time getting food for my 60+!! dwarves. They mostly just eat all day and complain about the lack of a well. I don't have bedrooms, a dining room, or even a meeting hall. This fortress is being difficult.
