Δ 15. Entrance to the castle
This is the gatehouse that dwarves use to keep themselves in and invaders out. The double sets of doors allows for a sort of airlock--during a siege, the fore doors can be closed to allow defenders to pile into the gatehouse, and the rear doors closed behind them. Then, you open the fore doors, and you have unleashed your army without compromising your fortress's safety. - Koji

Δ 14. The Enbalming Chamber
Here, newly-dead dwarves are brought to be prepared for their journey to the underworld. Ideally, you would already have a tomb prepared for yourself, but we wanted to be sure no one was forgotten. - Koji

On the highest perch above the underworld, I am prepared to guide the spirits of my fallen bretheren to the valley below. This level should be reserved for important people, such as former rulers and nobility. - Koji
Δ 10. Entrance to the Halls of the Fallen
Two fearsome iron statues and the tombs of two of our first and finest warriors watch over the entrance to the Halls. No dwarves will be permitted to live in these halls but in death, and after we are gone, we will want to know we are protected from anyone disturbing our rest. - Koji
