The diagonals walls are pretty epic; I could never bring myself to designate so many individual sections.

Enemies must climb up and down this helix-like path while exposed to numerous fortifications to gain entrance to the fortress. - _nil_

Eventually the plan is (or was) to order civilians indoors most of the time, leaving only military dwarvges to use the bedrooms and statue gardens in this small keep. - _nil_

Never actually used markdwarves here (which is good because it's far from an optimal design militarily) but it looks cool enough and in theory would serve as a good last-ditch redoubt. - _nil_

Home to the dungeon master and the legendary armor and weaponsmiths, only adamantine and steel are worthy of being worked here. - _nil_
