Rhymestakes - 319 Mid Autumn by Quietust

Map Description:

The entire tower has been carved away, the mold has been deconstructed, and the (dry) moat has been extended a bit. All of the loose obsidian stones have been atomsmashed (to minimize lag), and the original underground magma forging area has been converted into an obsidian farm to keep my supplies replenished without causing too much clutter.

The Elves have been truly annoying - for the past 5 years, they have brought nothing but cloth. Every time, I seize all of it and atomsmash it, but it doesn't seem to deter them.

In an effort to thin my population, I've equipped all of my guards with copper swords but have not given them any armor. Those that have survive long enough to become Swordmasters get steel plate armor and shields.

Last year, the Mountainhomes sent me migrants even when my population was beyond the cap of 200 - I responded by escorting them into my garbage compactor. The next season, they sent even more, and I gave them the same treatment. Maybe this time they'll stay away.

Very exciting indeed. This is a new trick Quietust.

I wouldn't say it's a new trick - players have been casting obsidian towers for years.

In case of armageddon, break glass. Very nice.
