Year 14
The HTML5 map viewer is currently in Alpha mode - I'm actively trying to develop new functionality.
There should be many very obvious problems with the viewer; please check
the
Issues page to notify or comment on the most egregious problems to help
me prioritise. The most common will be Loading... with an error
in the browser developer tools console. e.g. RangeError: Offset is
outside the bounds of the DataView
. Feel free to
report a problem
with a link to the problematic map or point of interest.
Veleshtân
SHIFT + Key doubles keyboard scroll rate.
Don't have Flash?
You can download the compressed map file:
2009-11/ram_-Linesmiths-Linesmithsagain-14-18.fdf-map
but you will need the .NET version of
SL's DF Map Compressor
to convert to the .PNG image format.

This is the succession fortress found at http://www.thetangledweb.net/forums/showthread.php?p=102843#post102843

interesting entrance, however there is no airlock between your fort and the outside so you can let the traders in without risking your fort... just a suggestion/observation

Ow, an airlock. This is an enlightening and so good looking a fortress. The paranoid trade depot is just something every fortress should include.

There is an airlock, you can very clearly see a bridge next to the trade depot.
Besides, airlocks are wussies, 'open 24/7' forts are the best! (read: fun)
