Very organised! It has a consistent look throughout the z-levels of the fort. This map looks like it's the same that I'm currently playing on. If so, I note that you've not yet taken advantage of the local site features in this upload.
Your upper level design is also very reminiscent of my own, but I suspect it's a popular pattern of design :)

Thanks! Yes this is Lord Dakoth's heaven map. The magma pool was not tapped yet since we don't even have an anvil.
Also, I did stumble upon your map just before we started this, so the upper level was indeed inspired by yours.

This is a very nice fort, I especially like how you have chosen to dig everything tidily downwards instead of making huge sprawling areas.
Also, are those outer walls engraved or is the graphics set I have not seen before playing with me?

They're dolomite and diorite block walls with mayday's latest tileset.

i noticed that above your entrance there are ONLY fortifications... i personally like to only place a few fortifications so my marksdorfs can still fire out yet civilains can still resupply them with ammo in nearby stockpiles without being scared off... just my two cents
im loving that design btw
