I'll bet there's a nice fuzzy giant cave spider in them thar caves.

Why would the fuzzy spider want masterpiece quality items?

(almost all of the items are exceptional and above, and some are even made from shiny metals like aluminum and horn silver.)

Oh, I'm sure some nice explorers with loot from somewhere else took a nice visit to the 'abandoned' cave and gave them to the spider.

That sounds "fun" (for the explorers, and me :D)

P.S. Checked the cave out by un-forbidding all of the items, it's deserted. :(

"Magma Workshops" - indeed, magma does flow rather slowly, what with its lack of pressure. I learned this the hard way with one of my earlier forts, and this is why I always use screw pumps now.

You can download the compressed map file: 2009-10/sava2004-Constructrain-Constructrain-202-163.fdf-map but you will need the .NET version of SL's DF Map Compressor to convert to the .PNG image format.
