So far I've not tried anything too ambitious, it's mostly a scaling up of previous ideas, and trying to keep things fairly efficient and aesthetically acceptable.
( 201 Mid Summer → onwards )
The entrance has double drawbridges. Either side of the way in sports a watchtower, perfect for marksdwarves (up one z-level) to shoot at any would-be attackers. They also give far better coverage than any single spot behind fortifications on the main fortress walls.
In peacetime there should always be at least 1 squad of marksdwarves on duty in a tower at any one time. - Huin

You can download the compressed map file:

but you will need the .NET version of

to convert to the .PNG image format.

I like it, you may want to add some points of interest to make navigation easier though.

Yeah, sorry about that :) - uploaded the map just before running off to work. Now adding those points of interest.

Did you want to put a pool in the middle of the dining hall?

Probably not... but that's a good idea :D - maybe I shall do that. Part of me suspects it would have been for gladiator fights (captured goblins vs army), but it's not nearly big enough for that - and it tends to send the clientelle fleeing.
