Firecleft - 233 Late Autumn by Kardos

Map Description:

This is a 12x14 embark region centered around a volcano. Currently in construction is the Trade Tower, which is going to be some 22 stories tall (not including the basement). This Fortress utilizes Legendary Lands mod.

Δ 27. Tower Construction
This is the sixth level (including ground level) of the Trade Tower. This is the first level to utilize fortifications. Currently I am only focusing on the walls and obsidian gaurd towers. The floors will be placed once I begin making clear glass (not for some time). - Kardos
Δ 22. Obsidian Factory
This is where the Obsidian Factory will breach the surface. The Factory will be a tower 45 tiles in diameter. The resevoir tubes far below are 10 z-levels high and 13 tiles in diameter each. - Kardos
Δ 22. Settlement
This is where the Dwarves live in squalor. I operate firmly on the beliefe that any Dwarf to troublesem to keep alive will be replaced by an immigrant. (Except for the legendary gem cutter and gem setter thanks to some lucky moods) Immigrants frequently die traversing 5~10 region tiles to get to camp as they encounter ambushes, giant cave spiders and animated swords. - Kardos
Δ 22. Trade Tower
This is the first construction for Firecleft, the Trade Tower.
It's about 60 tiles wide 30 tiles deep. The two gaurd towers built into the front are made of obsidian, while the walls are of granite. The tower will be some 22 levels high and house two depos. - Kardos
Δ 20. Trade Tower: Basement
This is the basement of the Trade Tower. The one room is currently being used as the barracks for all 113 of the dwarves (with about 10 beds). - Kardos
Δ 10. Obsidian Factory: Water/Magma Resevoirs
These are the four tubes where magma and water will be stored. The Obsidian Factory itself begins below ground, but will extend into the sky to include the glass and metal industry, powered by magma of course. - Kardos
