Combined World - 1033 Early Spring by ricemastah

Map Description:

Battleheart 1033

The Coliseum is filling up nicely, as are the Countess' rooms. I need to produce the tables still for everything including a dinning hall, which to this point I have completely neglected.

So it could be a few more years till this is all done. So currently the projects still underway are: Grand Pool, Dinning Hall, Grand Ballroom, and King's Chambers (throne room sorta done).

Point of Interest: Flooding Problems

Well the waterfalls are working nicely after some tinkering, however the input/output ratio for the water is not entirely even so there is a slow filling of the Pool of Reflection. A small problem... and the overflow measure did not work as well as expected. I think I will add some pumps over by the overflow just to insure that the area does not flood anymore. - ricemastah

I want everything in the fort to be a masterpiece. In some sense that sort of includes engravings. Right now they are all exceptional and master piece. Should I construct over all of the non-masterpiece engravings and then re-engrave them? It would be ridiculous and worthy of the game. But at the same time would be extremely time-consuming because with 200+ dwarves my fps is extremely low. I am unsure of how to proceed at this point. Any ideas guys?

Yikes, the throne room... x.x its as big as half my forts.

Engrave EVERYTHING in the fort and then you will have a masterpiece. Line the halls with master piece golden statues decorated with goblin king bone, fill the water with melted silver and have silver water. And then, submerge the whole thing in lava and seal it off to never see the light of day again.

9. Coliseum

The Grand Coliseum. I am still finishing it up, but its basic shape is done. I need to install crystal glass windows, chairs and tables. When that's done I'll fill up the moat and call it a day. Gladiators come later, which is sort of a shame. - ricemastah
9. Countess' Home

This area will contain all of the countess' rooms, as well as the tax collector, countess consort, hammerer, and philosopher. I still need furniture of course, but it is basically done. - ricemastah
12. Dungeon Master's Home

I love the Dungeon Master! The only noble willing to do work!. So I gonna make a nice mini realm for him. Right now I got his smelter and forge set up. Under this floor should be a small statue room. Below that will be the kennels and his tomb. Above the smelter level will be his bedroom. Behind the smelter will be his office and dining room. I'm gonna give him some nice crystal glass windows and when everything is all sealed up I'm surrounding this by water - ricemastah
12. Pool Of Reflection

Well this was supposed to be a nice pool where my dwarves could hang out and contemplate their existence. Instead they decide that the entrance hall is the perfect place to jump to their deaths. All my melancholy dwarves except for one have ended up falling to their doom here. Also dwarven mothers give birth to their babies up at the top... most of the babies born up there fall to their deaths. I think 2 have died so far due to this, and by that I mean babies. The melancholy ones I have lost track of. - ricemastah
12. Throne Room

Well most of my maps are gonna need a throne room, and this one isn't gonna be an exception. Again a multi-level throne room. I managed to finish it all up because I did not insist on all masterpiece windows, though they are all decorated quite a bit with precious metals and gems. Because this fort was focusing on water I decided to have some thick pillars with water running through them. - ricemastah
