Sparklewheel-Sparkgear - 214 Early Spring by _nil_

Map Description:

Post-cataclimic Sparkgear V. The dwarves here currently live in two separate fortresses--what's left of the main fortress and the vault.

Point of Interest: Metalworks

The survivors on the surface don't have much, but they can boast a fully functional metalworks. There's enough copper to train a weaponsmith and armorsmith up to the highest levels, and enough steel to outfit an army. The bins on the lower left are full of useless metal weapons and armor ready to be melted down. - _nil_

It's just a swarm of whatever hell-flies this place has. Vermin.

The bed-room layout is awesome. Three rooms per door. Very ingenious.

The skyway was meant to provide a way to the tower during sieges, the ground it's connected to was supposed to be fenced in and connected to the fort underground.

I love the waterworks :o
Pumping water from one tile of aquifer leading it to another is highly efficient, way more efficient than my line-of-pumps-with attached wheels :(

Also carp catcher++ but if the aquifer isnt enough, and you want to pump it, how do you reach the stairs without drowning?? >.<

Noo you cleared out EVERTHING in my laggtrap :(
Hmm... actually, wouldnt that make a sweet arena?
For some epic battles anyways :D

Why thank you

Unless I'm mistaken, the reason there is water on aquifer bug is that that sand tile is an aquifer; ALL aquifer tiles create water, regardless if they are connected to more aquifer tiles. If you dig out the tile the water can probably be pumped out...

Thanks, I'll leave that to someone else then

The fortress bujilding is progressing to slow. Maybe because you've got so many champions. Eat less mushrooms, do more work!
