This will probably be the last upload of this fortress before I abandon it. It's been a really fun map but I think I've taken it as far as it can go. I have four marksdwarves, all of them are elite except for Kogan Tadsazir(kickass name!) who ironically seems to get the most kills. She was severely wounded a while back but managed to pull through and I guess she's out for revenge. Most of the bones you see in my refuse piles are goblin bones.
I bought a bunch of animals from some elves including some grizzly bears and a couple of alligators. The alligators turned out to be an interesting buy. I turned them loose and let them wander around. Sometimes they make it down to my cistern and swim around for a bit. I'll have to remember that next time I decide to make an aquarium.
As for the grizzly bears I have a couple of them outside guarding the entrance. Unfortunately my weapon traps and marksdwarves have proved so effective the bears never get a chance to attack anything.

I like your tiles -- I think how a floor interacts with a angled wall looks a little odd, but I don't know how to fix it. I like your fortdesign too.

Hey, what graphical tiles do you use? I love the dwarves.

I'm very interested in finding out what graphics set you're using. Looks like Sphr's, but not quite.
I hope he returns to update his sets once the new version comes out!
