Map Description:

My third fortress in the region and the first one I expect will go a long way. Rerithning is founded on the base of a large mountain and currently has a population of 84 dwarves.

Δ 23. The volcano
Judging from here this is a pretty standard volcano, but this one has a little specialty: I it goes on about 80 z-levels from this point, making it ideal for large magmafalls or other contraptions. I am going to start to experiment with some of my ideas soon. - Servu
Δ 19. Personal rooms and strip mine
Currently my largest mining project in the area. I intend to excavate the area over my main hall all the way down to create a multilevel hall and doorway to my entrance. The work is currently put to halt since all the stone must be dumped first.

The cross-shape of the thing is not intentional. The east and west hallways will be continued onward as expansions are dug out. - Servu
Δ 16. Dining hall (second floor)
The upper part of my dining hall is made out of alcoves for the future nobles. These are still mostly unoccupied and the furniture is scattered around. - Servu
Δ 16. Storage level
Holding most of my larger stores. currently quite empty as everything has been moved to the trade depot. The central area will be excavated in the future. - Servu
Δ 15. Dining hall (first floor)
The main meeting place for my common folk. Has all the usual stuff plus my Grand Zoo! Come see the wonderful beasts we have! Including a Hedgehog! And a Large Roach!

I am planning to build a magmafall to the north. This was supposed to be a waterfall supplying my wells in the middle but I had to alter it because of the scarcity of water in the area. - Servu
Δ 15. Magma Forge
This is where all of my metal goods are made. There are tunnels under the floor that supply the smelters with magma. I currently have only found tin, silver and copper so my military is currently wearing bronze chainmail. Steel will be made as soon as more goblins show up with iron weapons to melt. - Servu

Δ 15. The old fort
This is the early living area of my dorfs. On the top are the old workshop rooms (the carpenter still works here). The larger middle rooms were my first food storages. Now used for wood and any unwanted pets. The bottom-left room used to be a pond for indoor fishing and water source, now dried up. - Servu
Δ 13. Prison
This is my prison complex, doubling as a water resevoir and fishing area. The cell with a red shirt in it was a home for my legendary metalcrafter. He went mad mid-sentence but was kept alive until he was released, only to immediately die from dehydration.

If you look to the north you will see my catacombs and one level up there are the guards' quaters. - Servu
