This will be my second desert fortress. Got some native platinum scattered around and a nice variety of colored stone, primarily kaolinite and olivine but I suspect there's a good amount of microcline too. I think there's some sandstone but there's an aquifer that's making it hard to get to.
I like the way the general area looks, with the black, red and yellow sand. Nothing overly extraordinary about the map other than the appearance.

I like your tiles -- I think how a floor interacts with a angled wall looks a little odd, but I don't know how to fix it. I like your fortdesign too.

I'm very interested in finding out what graphics set you're using. Looks like Sphr's, but not quite.
I hope he returns to update his sets once the new version comes out!
