Razordike - 214 Late Summer by Jervill

Map Description:

My 3rd fortress; and first in 40d13. (First two were in agonizingly slow 40d.) I had an unfortunate magma incident early in the fortress's lifetime. It is the mountainhome and has become unplayable because of FPS drop. The number of Dwarves is at 281 and the amount of animals is astronomical. I have since moved on to a newer fortress.

You may want to turn off births at some point if you are past the 200 dwarf limit, and butcher animal offspring once you get to a number you want so as to limit framerate loss.

Otherwise, this could probably be solved in this fort by recruiting a bunch of dwarves and sending them off to fight off a siege without any previous fighting experience.

And oh god bedrooms without doors, you are cruel.

I'm butchering animals in my newer fort now and am eyeing the numbers like a hawk. Also, I have built doors for the bedrooms as well.

The reason I had 281 Dwarves was that I was trying to see how many Dwarves I could get before the FPS died.

I've basically unofficially retired this fortress at this time.
