• Δ 120. Morul Suite - Cross-section

  A side view of Mourl's suite (and the rest of the fortress.). Even though the moat looks massive, the suite barely fit. The hot tub level was built first and was as low as the magma could be pumped out. The builders were dodging small magma eruptions as the pipe was trying to refill. Periodically they'd land on the constructed areas and workers would have to go around and make temporary bridges to put up walls where magma blocked construction. 2 of the 3 temporary bridges providing access to the site melted. - martin

• Δ 18. Moat and viaduct

  The approach was torn out and replaced with a clear glass viaduct with clear glass windows. Why make such a massive magma moat and not let people see it? Right?
  
  Rose gold trade depot, just for style points.
  
  The two bump-outs on the viaduct are the chimneys to Morul's suite. Also doubles as the loading point for his fireplaces. Orc corpses are his favorite fuel. - martin

  A little hacking was done to give Morul a nice grassy area to meditate under the clear glass dome of his suite. - martin

  Adamantine walls, masterwork clear glass windows and masterwork steel statues adorn Morul's artifact andesite coffin. - martin

  Another Adamantine wall, masterwork clear glass window floor. Currently being used to store masterwork steel furniture, but possibly will become another statue garden. Open to suggestions... - martin

  Nickel walls and windows adorn the zoo. The cages are masterwork steel. Still moving animals in, and leaving some room for some megabeasts. - martin

  Clad in solid oak blocks, this stately room offers a television for Morul's viewing pleasure with room for several of Moruls friends. The program currently playing is a one-armed human who is prone to passing out due to extreme pain. On the staircase hallway is an artifact andesite cabinet. - martin

  Solid oak blocks and masterwork steel furniture adorn Morul's bedroom, containing an artifact tower cap cabinet and masterwork oaken bed. - martin

• Δ 8. Morul Suite - Study

  An oak paneled room with masterwork clear glass windows, masterwork steel furniture, and masterwork adamantine statues give Morul the right environment to work. Flanking the staircase are twin fireplaces, magma ignited. Morul prefers burning orc carcasses dropped from the viaduct above.

• Δ 7. Military level

  Dedicated to the military, two sleeping barracks and two training barracks allow for a sizeable military, though only 8 dwarves are currently in the service. The dining space is disconnected from the central staircase and none of the staircase rooms attach to the military space. The only access is via the housing staircase.
  
  The full storage room is metal/adamantine bolts. Farther to the east are storage areas for the masterwork steel weapons and armor. - martin

• Δ 7. Morul Suite - Entrance

  The entrance to Morul's suite - off the back of the military level and requiring passage through a clear glass tunnel gives maximum security and sets the tone for a visit to the most interesting Dwarf.
  
  The masterwork adamantine statue was made by Morul and is studded with every material available in the fortress. Two artifact doors greet visitors. Side rooms are for food and drink and house the levers controlling the fireplace above.
  
  Everything in the suite is masterwork or artifact quality. Steel is a preferred material, and is the material for the floor, all of which was sourced from the molten arms and armor of orcs Morul dispatched. - martin

  Steel, nickel silver and black bronze decorate the dining area, featuring room for 20 dwarves. An artifact andesite throne reserves Morul's place at the table. - martin

  Adamantine and masterwork clear glass windows provide Morul the ideal environment to train. An artifact olivine weapon rack defines Morul's private training area, and a native gold archery target is fitting for a legendary marksdwarf. Nearby bolt storage and training weapon storage is provided. - martin

  This steel floor houses the collection of masterwork adamantine armor and weapons that Morul created before entering the military. The door is usually locked to prevent other champions from borrowing his stuff. - martin

  What safer place to store the fortresses artifacts than near the bottom of Morul's suite? Any thief that can sneak down the housing staircase, through the military floor, and in through Morul's suite (and back out again) without getting killed deserves his treasure. I plan on chaining a megabeast, or at least one of the giant cave spiders here - just in case.
  
  Two artifact armor stands outside the suite, along with masterwork steel chest and cabinets provide a place to store gear before entering the hot tub below.
  
  The lever inside the artifact room opens the flood-the-world floodgates on the west side of the magma moat. - martin

• Δ 2. Lower trapping area

  Olms were modded to produce mog juice to help Morul get the fish dissecting skill. They were trapped down here. The small room is a repeater. Channel it to open it to the water and it should start. It's not hooked to anything (do that first). Just in case anyone wanted to use it... - martin

• Δ 2. Morul Suite - Hot Tub

  Heated by a magma pipe, this fully clear glass wall and floor hot tub has room for Morul and 10 friends on the 11 masterwork clear glass seats. An artifact olivine gear assembly in the center of the hot tub drives the water jets. - martin

• Δ 1. Swimming tank

  Here is where Morul got his swimming skill.
  
  The lever raises the bridge and seals off the left side of the room. A pump above draws from the underground river and fills the left room. Morul stands by the lever and is locked in. The lever above closes the floodgate to the river drain pipe. Stop pumping, lower the bridge and the room fills to 6/7 level. When he's ready to leave, unlock the hatch cover above, let him out, and open the floodgate to drain the room (he won't go in if the room is full). Repeat the cycle. - martin

• Δ Hunting grounds

  The animals are long since gone (and are migrating to the map again, much to everyone's surprise) but here is the hunting grounds. Each square is an embark tile in size and the square with the bridges would be the pen. The door to the south paths outside but is not-passable for animals. They'd pile up against the door and get locked in. Then the door was locked and they'd stop pathing while they reproduce their numbers. - martin
