Point of Interest: Human Siege

In the great burnination of 204 a group of human merchants got caught in the depot and burned to death. Apparently the humans feel that this is my fault, and have sent a bunch of soldiers to teach me a lesson.

Luckily a dark dwarven caravan just arrived. I'm setting my hopes on the caravan guards taking down the siege, since I have little hope that my 9 remaining civilians can do much besides getting killed.

Update: And a short while later, they did. - Rubberduck

At the top the tower, animals and sentients are dissected by the high priests, two level down another high priest processes the tortured flesh into bloodstones and soulstones for use in the dark dwarven magics.

Once the tower is finished one find a masterful statue of Agesh, the god war and fortresses, at the very top. - Rubberduck

11. Obsidian Production Facility

( 204 Early Summer to onwards )
Here is the facility that produces obsidian for the building of the main tower. A miner channels out the obsidian plug to the north, and then pulls the lever that opens hatches two levels above to let water fall down.

I'll probably make a new facility some time, since this system requires manual opening and closing, with the associated risk of flooding. - Rubberduck
