Start of second year in my second fortress.
The HTML5 map viewer is currently in Alpha mode - I'm actively trying to develop new functionality.
There should be many very obvious problems with the viewer; please check
the
Issues page to notify or comment on the most egregious problems to help
me prioritise. The most common will be Loading... with an error
in the browser developer tools console. e.g. RangeError: Offset is
outside the bounds of the DataView
. Feel free to
report a problem
with a link to the problematic map or point of interest.

You can download the compressed map file:

but you will need the .NET version of
SL's DF Map Compressor
to convert to the .PNG image format.

Are you going to be putting your soldiers in those beds out front? Otherwise I think if anything gets past your traps and the drawbridge some Fun might happen. Looks like a nice fortress so far.

That might be a good thing, i actually simply started with getting bedrooms, so they came in the front... Also, i don't have a any recruits yet, not even close to champions, i'll simply use the two miners and the carpenter as defense if i have to.

Very nice, I always have problems making my fort look and feel so organic. And I love that bridge over the river for some reason.

I hope the lever right in front of the trade depot isn't the one for the bridge in the entry gauntlet; dwarves will run away from enemies even when going for a lever. I always construct my control rooms deep in the fortress, well away from entrances but close to meeting halls, so that there's little chance of enemies to interrupt, and high chance of an idle dwarf to take the job.

it is, but i also got one deeper in, next to the carpenters workshop, and there's pressure plates next to it so it'll retract if any hostile creature goes there. Is there any trapavoid building destroyers? I have a long hallway below the pit in mind, to get dwarves out, but i'd need alot of traps along it.
