Year 4 of construction.
Things are moving more slowly now. I'm still a little unsure of where things need to go in this new fort, but I have come to the conclusion that there should at least be a stairway. So, I've wasted some time making a stairway off the west side of the main hall.
( 221 Early Spring → 224 Early Summer )
This thing is a big headache. It takes forever to build each floor, a lot of stone and micromanagement goes into construction, and it's murder on path lengths.
I like the look though, and I'm still debating whether to put a waterfall down the center, or to preserve a section of the desert floor as a little display case (complete with animal specimens, naturally). - MrFake

Wow. This is a very nice map. I have been working on one for a while now, and I hope I can post it soon. It is still not exactly the way I like it. Right now I am focusing on killing off some of my dwarves...there are too many to keep track of lol.

What in the world is Phase 2?!
Phase 2 tests seem to involve a bridge, a pressure plate and a long drop. Somewhat disconcerting.
