Map Description:

This is the map for the Great Bridge succession game - end of year 1.

Right now, we have a nice little work camp set up to build the rock blocks we'll need to build the bridge. No actual work on the bridge has been done yet, this is all prep work so we have a stable base to build from.

Point of Interest: Inner doors

This is the inner doors from the gateway. They'll help a bit against invaders, but we'll still need a strong military to fend off the ambushes and sieges we're going to get. - Mephansteras

Δ 18. The Canyon
This is the Canyon we need to cross. Lots of options here, although for a truly great bridge I think we should go across the wide section in the center here. Gives us the most room to build out and around. - Mephansteras
Δ 17. Gate fortifications
This is our main gate fortifications. The entire area around it is only accessible from inside the fortress, so we can fire down on enemies safely.

Since we're using the Unleashed version of Civilization Forge, and we're not going for an impregnable fortress or massive numbers of traps, this is going to be very important. - Mephansteras
