Axeward is a fortress designed as an upside-down pyramid. The underworld will eventually be cleaned out leaving a giant cavern with the pyramid being inside it.

I like your pre-planning and design.
It's a very good start, I think. I prefer to play it by ear but my forts never end up looking too professional like yours.

The problem is despite numerous forts I still mess up at some level then end up having to re-engineer some part of the fort which ends up screwing everything up. I suppose that is part of the fun.

Lux, when I heard your plan I was really hoping you'd be hauling stone to the surface rather than hollowing out a mountain.
