About carping time! We finally have our dry-dock setup, now we're beginning our work on the ship itself. HUZZAH!
The ship will be built in a semi-traditional format, it'll be interesting to watch it get built.
(For those of you patient enough to enjoy the backstory, I might allow cameo appearances.)
The dry-dock is finally ready. I know what it looks like from there; shut it.
What's going on is that this is a preliminary step to getting the bottom-deck ready for construction.
The double-bridge allows for the other side of the bridge (the airship's) to be constructed as a drawbridge/door. Of course, this is a bit tricky to pull off, so to keep it relatively cheap in the construction department, I used my masons to build two sub-bridges, the other side is going to be wooden. So in the meantime, this will be a temp-bridge. Easily dismantleable.
And yes, it was a long, hard process and the air was thick with tension, and invaders provide a stiff competition for survival. Of course, after 2 years of lawlessness (sort of), my dwarves are hardened to the cold nature that is of a shower of calamity. We shoot for the sky! - Itnetlolor

Keep climbing up levels to appreciate the rest of this structure while it stands; because soon enough, it'll be beaten by a glorious airship next year. - Itnetlolor
