Koganromek, almost a year after the previous archive. Not a lot has happened between then and now.
-A number of dwarves died: Five caught in the lake during the Spring thaw while hauling lumber from the eastern lakeshore, and a handful from failed moods. Nothing to warrant interring them in the Mausoleum
-I finally got around to establishing the metalworks, which should keep my new dungeonmaster occupied
-A proper roadway is under construction. The southern spur is for the caravans, though it isn't really necessary. The main road will extend at least halfway up the map, and it's mainly to keep my dwarves from trampling all the flora underfoot as I clearcut the trees.
Projects on the to-do list include:
-furnishing the family level of the residences
-continuing roadwork
-Training a squad of Hammerdwarves to compliment my crossbowdwarves
-Construction of an Archery tower over the entrance
-furnishing at least one set of noble's quarters
-Construction and irrigation of a walled outdoor garden
-Pondering a Stupid Dwarf Thing(tm) to undertake.

Why does that river come with levees?
