Mid winter, the jeweler finally starved to death. We have constructed a green glass coffin for him and designated a burial area for everyone.
More hallways have been crafted for the annals of history, and doors have been put into large-scale production to line the hallways.
This year's history revolves around Dwarves talking, walking, travelling and one image of a dwarf withering away.
Also oddly was an image of a dwarf embracing two goblins...?? And the yearly submissive demon image.
Due to the historian sleeping for half of late winter, the remaining side still needs engraving.

Crop planting has started, and the installation of the green glass floodgates (which look way cooler than regular floodgates) has been finished. Final touches to the walls are being performed by the miner right now. - matryx

Engraved each year by a dedicated historian, these rooms will progress into the mountain as the fortress ages.
1053's showed images of squares, dwarves travelling, dwarves labouring, and several pictures of stars.
1054's showed dwarves talking, walking, travelling and one image of a dwarf withering away.

More glass blocks than I expected went into the production of this. - matryx

It seems fitting somehow that the dwarves should be remembered near the history they worked so diligently to create. Alcoves leading off from the History Rooms lead to the tombs. - matryx
