• ¶ 27. 00 - Temporary Entrance

  Here is both the starting location AND the barrier keeping out the wandering GCS's that are on this map. I've already lost several dwarves to one in an attempt to not kill it, after which a caravan guard killed it without it doing any damage to anything...There are still more to be found though! This entrance will be much grander once I'm more settled in. - SiliconJesus

  To make it so the animals don't wander everywhere on this large map and kill more FPS I've shoved them in here until they are either to be slaughtered for bones or to become another arrow target by being assigned to a military dwarf. - SiliconJesus

• Δ 25. 02 - General Overview

  This is the most busy section of the entire fort. As you can see, I make use of the chasm for heavy traffic areas to keep all the dwarves from getting cave adapted as they must pass outside to at minimum get food and sleep. - SiliconJesus

  Although not as nice as I would like them to be furnished, this is keeping it (right now) so that they have at least a place to sleep without rent being so high. Later as bankrolls increase, I think that I will more lavishly adorn some of them. - SiliconJesus

  Here is the beginning of my shopping district. Each shop will have its own stall like these three and between them I will place a statue garden and, I think, misc. artifacts so that they can be admired. - SiliconJesus

  Here is the staple of every dwarf fort. The booze and food growing and cooking. All the barrels and bags you see are empty ones ready to be used for brewing or processing. Food is then stored in the larder below the kitchens in nice neat rows all designated as restricted walking space so in the event of barrel shortage, it is less likely food will get trampled. - SiliconJesus

  This is the storage room for all the barrels, bins, and beds that we may need at one point or another. As you can see, barrels are pretty abundant thanks to me forgetting they were on a repeat job (whoops). If I need wood, though, there is still plenty to be had about the wilderness. - SiliconJesus

• Δ 25. 07 - Noble Housing

  I've been lucky enough, through the caravans to be able to make a number of black bronze items to keep my nobles happy with their rooms. So far all the requests have been very agreeable sans the Mayor relentlessly wanting Tin items. For some reason I don't even have tin available to smelt even with cassiteriete (or however you spell it). If anyone knows what the raw should look like please let me know so I can look for it in the general reactions. - SiliconJesus

  If you haven't noticed yet, I'm a bit OCD about stockpile creation and micromanagement. Each floor holds its own bits (metal armor, weapons, ammo) and leaves room for dwarves to walk about without stepping on bins. - SiliconJesus

  Here I have micro managed the furniture down into each type so it is more easily reviewed come time for construction. Less used items get fewer space while items that I dump and recreate often get more places. - SiliconJesus

  Be it rings, toys or trinkets, you will find them here. Great source of quick trading fuel for training up appraisal or any trade related skill if the need arises. It also makes it easy to pick out for the squeekies that hate all my bone and wood items I want to trade them! ^^ - SiliconJesus

• Δ 24. 12 - Cloth and Leatherworks

  Simple enough for now, cloth on the left, leather on the right. Eventually I believe I will add in room for dyes and the processing of them. With all the silk around from both the GCS's and the small ones, I'm rolling in the stuff. - SiliconJesus

• Δ 18. 13 - Wooden Magma Pump System

  It's only a matter of time, really, until it all goes up in smoke (literally!). But until that time, this system of 21 windmills pumps the magma up 6 levels to the metal and glass forges and smelters. - SiliconJesus
