RelicFlickers - 75 Early Spring by Monty

Map Description:

Since most of my worlds are generated with 100% volcanism, I don't often come across sedimentary stone. I embarked on a Siltstone site and was met with numerous veins of Bituminous coal and Magnetite as well as Hematite. Due to the abundance of iron, I now have a legendary metalcrafter and more iron crafts than I know what to do with.

I needed a lot of space to hold all the food that ten dwarves should ever need in case I get sieged by the Clowns, Orcs and Kobolds at the same time.

Oh yes, and I replaced the Goblins with Clowns, I expect them to be mounted on their vicious Clown Cars in a few years time. - Monty

I felt that the more Ornate grand hall wasn't big enough to put tables in, so I hollowed out a Magnetite vein and put twenty tables in there. Many more tables would follow, but I've got the population limit at 10 to preserve my 500+ FPS. - Monty

I felt spiteful, so I used smelter reactions to make all the dwarves some standard-quality Microcline beds. But since I'm using 40d7/8, my dwarves always seem to die of thirst in their sleep, a quick tagging later, and they don't sleep.
So they don't use their beds anyway, what a pity. - Monty

I ran out of space in my first food hoard, so I hollowed out another near the lake. Unfortunately, some an Orc ambush party ran through here when the workshop hall above wasn't complete and they all fell victim to my legendary engraver, who promptly kicked off their extremities. - Monty

A giant bat got mushed down here when he followed his owner and walked (flew) underneath the bridge while I was trying to obliterate some fluffy wamblers which ended up in my smelters after I melted down the cages. - Monty
