Lanternattacks ends its third year. This year was very busy.
Spring saw the first housing dug, as i got a few more fresh recruits to give picks to. As well as this, I drafted my first military troops after all of their armour was constructed, and set them to spar with silver weapons.
It was lucky that I did, as summer bought an orcish siege. Casualties were a woodcutter, a tanner, a thresher and a hammerdrwarf; the enemies were routed.
There was a goblin ambush in Autumn, and the goblin archer managed to wound my cook. Becuase of the exposed nature of my entrance, i decided that it was time to move smithing operations underground, and spent much of autumn setting it up.
There were two more goblin ambushes in Winter, so i spent most of the time working on the hallways inside my fort.
Wish list for 306:
-Set up a proper entrance, move everything underground
-finish the cliff, start work on any other ones
-set up a grand meeting hall inside.
( 306 Early Spring → 306 Mid Spring )
Still relatively unchanged from what it was like 2 years ago, though now with less workshops. And more champions. I've also added a drawbridge over a ditch; the first part of the eventual defenses. I hope to have everything moved inside in a years time though - sneakeypete

Looking good, I like the layout and spacing of the rooms below the food depot, the gaps in the layers for small workshops, very compact and clear.
I also approve of the excavation of the cliff - a good way to designate a large block of stone to be removed without scarring the landscape.

Nicely done. I like the natural cave entrance look. Very dwarf-like.
