A seaside Nano Fortress (48x48 one map tile site). There's a bit of a problem with the map, as the tides don't work. The sea is basically one massive lake. The area is haunted, and is habitually inhabited by merpeople, deer, foxes, skeletal foxes, skeletal deer and skeletal racoons. The world is populated only by dwarves, kobolds and goblins, forming two goblin civs, a dwarf and a kobold civs (the elves were wiped out in world-gen). From a small 33x33 world.

Really nice. I gotta try out the pocket fortress thing sometime.
BTW, did you do anything to avoid having an aquifer or did you just happen to find a good spot without one?

I used embarkeverywhere on an actual coastal tile (where the rock is generally not aquifier'd).
