Talldoor - 76 Mid Spring by RPharazon

Map Description:

This is the Fort's third year of existence. We have braved 4 Ork ambushes, 3 Daemon ambushes, 2 gobbo ambushes, and a whole bunch of sparring accidents and mishaps.

Our total population is about 74, albeit with 13 dead dwarves. All except one died from sparring accidents, so that's awesome.

We are aiming to become a Barony, and maybe a County.

Point of Interest: Main Entrance

PoI sharing and default PoI bits don't like each other, so this is the standard default point. - RPharazon

Not bad dawg. I recommend you get a 16x16 tileset, a lot of people (read: me) dislike non-square tilesets even though that's how the game started out.

PTTGV5 is a nice one, or you could go with redjack or just curses_square_16x16 or whatever!

Tall door is a very sandy fort. I'm impressed by your cage and trap defences at the corners, it seems they attract a lot of visitors.

@Noble Digger
I despise tilesets with all of my being. I just don't have such a big monitor and I'd rather just be a bitter purist.

Trap nuclei are strangely effective at repelling invaders. Notice how my road is completely free of any traps, and there are direct passages to my otherwise undefended fort. An invading force could theoretically destroy my dwarves without any kind of effort.
Except, they go for the delicious kittens, and die for it.
