Where are the farms? I see a shed load of plump helmets... are you brewing/cooking them?

Yea since I have a few dwarves (Never more than 40 at any given time, normally under 30) One good farmer is really all I need. Plus because of that one year my dwarves dropped to 6 I had alot of food stored up..... 1000+ :o with 600+ drink. I'm just brewing the extra plants and planting every now and then. My main focus is trying to make it so I dont have to leave the fortress ^_^

I like your layout! It's very aesthetic while still being quite compact and efficient looking. Do you intend to build individual bedrooms or tombs, or do you just keep them happy with the statue garden?

The statue garden is pretty much the only thing keeping them happy at the moment >_> i'm planning on moving the game file to a different computer so work is faster and I can use more dwarves. Which then means a faster completed fortress with everything I planned for it ^_^
all the loose stuff is ruining the look :(

You can download the compressed map file: 2009-03/short_dwarf-Quicknesscraft-region2-207-35.fdf-map but you will need the .NET version of SL's DF Map Compressor to convert to the .PNG image format.
