The goblins must absolutely hate this fortress, because I've already gone through two or three more mayors since 109. I've played a bit into this year and some migrants show up a bit later, so all is currently well.
Reminding myself right now that there's such a thing as water pressure - I already had to savescum because the walkway here started flooding. Anyway, this should be able to handle the well, farm irrigation, and possibly a nice waterfall somewhere. After this I'll tackle transporting that magma. - xpCynic

The workshops are all organized into guild-like buildings, and each guild will (probably) have a leader, the member with the highest skill. It should mostly be easy to tell which guild is which here. - xpCynic

I like the "natural" shape of the place. Just noticing your purple cloud of miasma. You can sort your refuse so that the rotten stuff goes to a small, sealed room, and then have massive open-air storage of all the bones. The rotten stuff clears out pretty fast, and the miasma always stays away from the populace.

if you need progress to go faster, just change your dwarves' speed to 1 in the raw files.
They'll still need to eat and drink and sleep, but hauling and building goes a jillion times faster.

Very, very cool. I especially like the Capitol building, the castle of nobility and the central square. Might just have to steal one or two of ze ideas for my latest fortress :p
