This is my second successful fortress, built on an almost perfect map with magma pipe, brook, bottomless pit, flux, sand and HFS. No underground water, unfortunately.
I especially like the entrance, which is a bridge across the bottomless pit. The fortifications are built entirely from marble (white) and basalt (black), except for the two glass towers, which I imagine is quite impressive.

Awesome map, gotta love that bottomless pit/waterfall entrance. I really liked how you used the rock wall face as part of your buildings as varied as it is, very natural looking. I'd like to see how this progresses further with your outdoor areas lvl 15-19. Keep up the great work!
+Favored.

Thank you!
I plan to make a statue garden out of the big plateu (sp?) when the arena is finished. I'm also going to fles out the outer walls, so they go around the whole fortress, and adding a couple of towers on each side of the main entrance.

lol, there is soo much puke it almost looks like you have paved olivine roads at your entrance.
also the dry grass biome on level 15 is just begging to catch on fire. maybe an uber defense??
