Waterguards - 163 Early Winter by Coaldiamond

Map Description:

Waterguards nears the end of its construction. Upon further reflection, I believe that my Super Drowning chambers would be better known as Clockwork Drowning Chambers (or CDCs). Lets just hope that they function as intended.

Interesting floortiles, they look good, more floorlike.

I should have mentioned, this tileset and graphic set was made by Plac1d. His stuff is still being updated in the DF wiki site. I have made a few small changes to his original artwork though.

-Switch Two is water sensitive. It is set downstream of the oblique floodgate, the direct floodgate, and the interrupter hatch. Switch Two controls the direct floodgate, the two filling hatches, and the four drawbridges that seal the drowning chamber.
-When Switch One opens the oblique floodgate, Switch Two sets up a repeating circuit where water flows through the direct gate, over the switch itself, and through the filling hatches into the sealed drowning chamber. - Coaldiamond

-Switch One is a pair of creature sensitive plates. They are set behind a two of wooden spike traps in a small bottleneck. When either of these plates is pressed, they will open the oblique floodgate and activate Switch Two. - Coaldiamond
