Δ 15. Gate/Portcullis
The main gate is a portcullis, consisting of 3 grates connected to a single lever. I hadn't planned ahead when I was making the underground farms; if I had, I would have set it up so that I'd have a moat of either water or magma instead. - HisMajestyBOB
Δ 14. Level 1B
Farms to the south, with kitchen and related workshops to left and right. Barracks are conveniently located near the entrance to the upper-right and left, and also on the 1st floor of the aboveground fort. The well is just north of the stairs, and its shaft descends several levels. - HisMajestyBOB
Δ 12. Main Hall
The main hall for the fort. There's a waterfall in the center, with quite a bit of mud due to mistakes when making it. Dining hall is just to the south, with workshops to the left and right. The stairs to the mines and bedrooms are at the south end of the dining hall. Had I planned this out better, I would have made the main hall and dining hall larger, and would have placed the stairs down to the bedrooms in the main hall. - HisMajestyBOB
Δ 11. Reservoir
Reservoir for the waterfall and the well. The floodgate to the right is for an emergency spill-off; I had to use it when I first filled the reservoir, though, so it's already full. Water from the waterfall flows south to the pumps, and is pumped back up to fall again.

I've also spotted fish living in my reservoir. I consider them my emergency food supply. - HisMajestyBOB
Δ 10. Bedrooms
Bedrooms are a fractal-like design for efficiency and, more importantly, it looks cool too. The Mayor and Sheriff live to the south and one level down, the Dungeon Master to the north and one level down. I'll squeeze any other nobles in on the floor below, so that I don't disrupt the repeating pattern. - HisMajestyBOB
Δ 8. Arena (under construction)
This will be the arena, just below the Dungeon Master's office. The area in the center will be channelled, and the wall replaced with fortifications. Goblins and creatures will be placed in the arena, and a lever on this level will open the cages. I might try to come up with a way to be able to flood the arena with water and/or magma, if I can also make a way to pump that stuff out.

The jails are also on this level, although it's currently only being used by one injured soldier to rest. Even though he has his own bedroom. - HisMajestyBOB
Δ Crypts
This is where all the dwarves will one day end up. The largest crypt just south of the magma pipe is the Captain's, and it has a platinum sarcophagus. Other notables are also placed around the pipe. Commoners go in the crypts along the hall, and pets go in the microline crypts.

Right now there's only one dwarf interred, in the only crypt that's been sealed. Should catastrophe befall my fort, I'll seal all the crypts and flood the hall with magma, so that no goblin, elf, or kobold will ever disturb these remains. - HisMajestyBOB
