Shortly after my last entry, a large group of rhesus macaque raided my wagon for the few cloth-related items that were in it and attempted to make a getaway. However, they ran right towards Fire Imp Point. Two of them died, but one killed an Imp in the process. Later, some elk got too close to an Imp and half the area was engulfed in flames.
Two waves of immigrants have come since the last entry. We have quite a few woodcutters and masons now, and the latest batch included a butcher and two hunters...one of the hunters even picked off a Fire Imp!
The miners hastily began work on a second meeting hall and second apartment block. This interrupted their work on a magnetite mine a few levels down.
With three Masons at work, the outer walls should be completed by the end of summer.

Pesky Fire Imps. They just sit up there all the time, daring any living thing to come closer so they can toast it. Luckily nothing has managed to stumble onto them yet.
Eventually a few got killed. So far, one by rhesus macaque, and another by hunter. - theorangemage
