Welcome to Ancienttraded's most successful year. I got a couple civil works projects done, as well as an very, very impressive goblin execution streak.
Scoreboard:
Home: 80 (81 if you count prisoners)
Visitors: 3
Needless to say, I've killed many goblins. Of those eighty, I think about ten were killed in a fight. The rest were executed. My excuse? They killed a kitten. "Era" has 6 cats and a kitten, and I don't want those goblins killing his cats. In other news, the goblins also killed a war dog or two, which set my army back about 20%, but didn't make me mad.

I, err, don't see how turning on caveins would cause any problems.

Huge excavated areas, no supports, buildings above the ground. I think that if you turned cave-ins on, you'd wind up with a watery, bloody puddle about 30 feet underground or so, with wreckage piling up to just about surface level in some spots.
EDIT: Actually, nothing happened when I tested it. You'll just have to use your imagination.

I have mega respect for all that construction you did--I know firsthand how painful it is to do :O
I love the natural butte shape of your main wall and how you framed the map features, it all looks elegant in dark red.

One thing Ancienttraded has: Secure water supply. Food? Who needs food? We fish (often too much), and farm, but I doubt it'll be enough at this level for the entire end-game. I'm digging out the entire level just beneath the surface. Why?
Because I can.
