This has been a huge season! We now have 36 dwarves, and one of our peasants created an artifact phylite scepter, decorated with phylite and phylite. Go figure.

Who was the death trap built for?

Once the deathtrap is complete (I still need to knock out the top floor and build the bridges), I will open up the gates up top and use it to take out sieges.

3 of the immigrant dwarves had fishing-related skills. Fish will be a major source of food for the fortress. - Yegg

The fortress will have lots of levers, especially for my waterworks. Here, the mayor will be able to control them all. - Yegg

This will be the main input/output point for all waterworks in the castle. Of course, these floodgates are connected to an emergency shut-off switch. - Yegg
Δ 15. Several levels of excavation for Deathtrap
The levels will be mined out, and then collapsed via lever. - Yegg

Finally made it. It's huge, and should stand the test of time for the fortress. - Yegg

All the immigrants have overloaded the bureau of housing. - Yegg
