Woundspeak: The city of basalt and glass. This is the last time I'll be seeing her shine in the middle of the ocean for quite some time.
In general, things have become significantly more stable with a healthy population of 40 Dwarves. A far stretch to its previous 100-some Dwarves before the Planter's Riots and the mass suicides that came of it. But the city is content and quiet again.
A new city ordinance has been added: Every Dwarf gets a flat; whether soldier, guard, mason, or otherwise.
So far it's worked out well enough, It's kept the masons so occupied the Baron actually increased their wages by %50!
This artifact statue was place here surrounded by bauxite and alunite as a memorial of the Planter's Riots.
Bauxite as the color of the blood,
Alunite stretching out to purify.
This was one of the central areas of the carnage. After the depot here was destroyed, it was just an empty lot used for storage. I thought it was better that the space be put to city beautification. - Dakira
