Spearbanks - 118 Early Summer by syllogism

Map Description:

My first fort since late 2006. Not entirely efficient and a bit plain, but fairly pleased with it regardless.

Huh, interesting design. You should consider building a big tower from the surface level up!

Every time I come here after few days I find more awesome fortress than previous one. Itīs either stunning and motivating same time.
2syllogism: Great project. Plain, but great, your ancestors have to be proud.

D'oh! For some reason I looked at this map and thought there was simply a surface 'stockade' without going up any further Z-levels. *feeling foolish*

That's definitely quite a construction.. I'm impressed!

Judging by the 3dwarf image, its sort of a rounded pyramid within a hollow rounded pyramid. =)
Looks like it was a lot of work. Keeping the outer walls roundish must have been challenging!
