My latest fortress in its nascent stages. My plan with this fortress is to be as grandiose as possible and try to meld the utmost in aesthetics with the utmost in functionality. I always feel like I end up outgrowing my initial fortress design, so I decided to take some time and make things nice and big.

The medinas looks great, and I like the wide funnelled entrance. I'm not sure about the diagonally spaced walls on the south offices - I'm sure you can see/fire through those gaps.

I'm definitely not happy with the way some of the noble villas turned out. I agree that the diagonal tiles look awful, though I'm not so much worried about any nasties down that way.

BridgeBurner, why not patch the offices up with windows? When you put them in, they tweak the wall pattern. I think it could look much cooler then.

Ooo....great idea! I was actually wondering what the hell I was going to do with my magma glassworks. Satisfying picky fey moods just didn't seem like enough.
