Map Description:

The nobles wanted picks and steel so the iron shortage had to be plugged! Mined extensively to the north-west to find the vein, then set-up the magma forges and smelters. I'm in the process of upgrading the chasm bridge before I send the magma down to the critters (mole dogs so far!). Trade depot is inside and most of the internal moat defence is smoothed over, too! As you can see, there's been quite a few goblin seiges (about six all up), and I haven't had any immigrants lately (pop 54). Something's up at the capital? (Ezum Dumhed, or some such)
