Its a fort with a groovy looking lava moat?

I quite like that entrance, do you have any big plans for it in the future? Like siege machines, waterfalls or any of that usual stuff.

The usual stuff, lawl : ) ... I've not seen enough hidden secret base entrances behind waterfalls yet.

At Markavian, Simply put, yes.
At Markavian second post, I actually tried an entrance behind a waterfall once but carp killed my miners and the rest of the population went berserk.
At Syanide, not really, I do however plan to make the entrance another z-level tall and possibly build a giant statue on top of it.
Open for ideas.

I haven't seen any giant statues that I like - I'd sooner build a massive tower, or a giant underground cavern and place a single statue in the middle.

The problem with waterfalls I found is that they screw with the pathfinding, esspecailly with lavafalls.
I think you should somehow make little islands in a lava lake and get the goblins on them somehow, perhaps at the entrance so that all can see what happens to those who mess wit you.
