Swordraven - 104 Late Winter by Lightning4

Map Description:

The beginnings of an outdoor human style walled town with a keep. Far from anything to look at so far, but after three years of ongoing work, the main roads are complete and the first layer of the town walls are finished. Numerous other projects are strewn about in a state of disarray, including various workshops, a bone storage room, and an ambitious carp-killing fish trap. The actual town will soon take shape now that the walls are in workable shape.

Additionally, the only hydra on this map decided to pay me a visit a season ago. It was given a not very swift end.

Δ 19. Keep Floorplan
The basic floorplan of the keep. This whole area will be raised up on a platform of dolomite walls, with the keep upon it. This probably won't be completed for a while yet. - Lightning4
Δ 19. Quarry/mine
The main quarrying and mining operation for the town. This area appears rich in magnetite and platinum. The masons churn out dolomite blocks by the dozens for the ongoing construction of the city walls. By now, half of my dwarves are probably near-legendary masons. - Lightning4
Δ 18. Carpbane
The aforementioned fish catcher. Water is siphoned off of the river and unsuspecting fish swim in. The floodgates are shut behind them and the whole thing is drained into the drying chambers below. It has already claimed it's first victim. - Lightning4
