Ectosack - 1055 Late Summer by Unbeltedsundew

Map Description:

I was going for an underground cathedral type theme, but I dont play witha square tileset so it actually looks better not square. I decided to upload it as I just had an huge cave in in which 40 or more of my dwarfs died, and its fun to see the progress of forts as well as the finished things.

Point of Interest: Main Floor

Mmm miasma, always a problem in my forts because I like to have things kinda open. Of course this is just due to the mining accident. I'm not sure Im going to be able to pull through there are a lot of very upset dwarfs running around and I keep seeing things flying across the screen. One dwarf (that I noticed) has already bit the dust due to 'collision with an object'. - Unbeltedsundew

40 dwarfs dead in construction alone... the catheralesc room is most impressive, as are the other areas of the fort.

This is awesome. I think lassie has survived by not being anywhere near the hammerer or the cave in :)

Wow, I was surprised to see one of my maps on the list of cool things. I'm definitely in superior company! Looking back on this map it's got a lot of features I'd like to return to, particularly the fire suppresion system in the food stores... Sadly I misplaced this save I think, so I guess ill have to do it in a new fort.

The cathedral is cool, it looks like a giant plane
