Gasp! This map wasn't exported during winter! (though it was the 26th, three days before winter)
The description of the map is, (yet) again, mostly contained in the points of interest.
~300 drink, ~9 hundred prepared meals. Upped to 55 popcap to help with hauling. Strangely, I have 65 dwarves (3 baby, 3 military, 59 potential haulers) currently.
Do you like the tileset? Get it here. Also, leave a comment saying that you like it. If people like it and tell me, I improve the tileset.
Well... not yet. That's the intended result, though.
As the three lines of wall indicate, this is the third floor. There are two floors above and two below. Eventually, there will be a lot of open space, where there is no floor, but I haven't planned that far ahead. The walls will all be constructed.
Having stone is boring, but at least I can use it to train the DDRC Commander (Dwarven Death Ray Corps Commander).
(see same PoI in previous map)
The first thing I planned is a 5x5 magma pit on the fifth (bottom) floor. I may make a huge shaft above it and drop anything bearing the Mark of Disapproval into it.
The second thing is a large, open dining complex, but since I'm not sure how I'm going to implement that, I've made a temporary dining hall.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do with that microcline walls and floor on floor one? Non-HFS cyan = ick. - Savok
The HTML5 map viewer is currently in Alpha mode - I'm actively trying to develop new functionality.
There should be many very obvious problems with the viewer; please check
the
Issues page to notify or comment on the most egregious problems to help
me prioritise. The most common will be Loading... with an error
in the browser developer tools console. e.g. RangeError: Offset is
outside the bounds of the DataView
. Feel free to
report a problem
with a link to the problematic map or point of interest.

You can download the compressed map file:

but you will need the .NET version of
SL's DF Map Compressor
to convert to the .PNG image format.

Nice way of naming the levels of your glorious hall.

Thanks, but it was just a temporary marker for when I was doing the designations. If I had a much huger hall (read: if I had space) I would probably do an ornate roman numeral style floor labeling system.

That 'typical bridge' isn't a bridge at all, is it? It's just constructed walls and floors! Pretty sneaky trick.

Aye. I've got to include a few of those things in bloodlines.
