Making myself more accessible for wagons, and more secure for the increasing kobold attacks. Archers can snipe from a level above, I plan to fill the entire hallway with simple traps, and the drawbridge will keep enemies out (or in)! - vix0r

How far in since you embarked? Autumn of year 1?

Easy, just make a copy of your fortress, abandon the copy and check the legends for the copy. Your fortress should be listed there. It'll tell you the year you embarked.

This time, I made two shafts with grates over them, and the purple pressure-plate trap activates them both. Anyone comes in that way, they'll be starving to death unless they can fly. - vix0r

Δ 15. Old Front Door
Traders couldn't get to it, it wasn't terribly secure in the event of an attack... this entryway was mostly just built so I could get my well going and harvest some trees. Once my other entrance is completely done, I'm walling this entrance off and making sure it's completely inaccessible to friend & foe alike. - vix0r
