Girderwaters - the engraved ice castle - 1065 Late Autumn by AWDBall

Map Description:

This was an experiment in building an above ground castle from ice and ENGRAVING the walls. All that's in the above ground castle is the trade depot. Also includes an ice pyramid of constucted walls and ramps, so no engraving on it. I should tear down the pyramid and build it right with engravings on all interior walls.

The way I got the walls engrave-able was by making them using a bucket-brigade of dwarves filling an outdoor pond using the water from the aquifer.

Point of Interest: Ground floor, center of the depot in the castle.

The halls in the walls on the main floor here only have constructed floors, so no engravings for them, but all the other surfaces are nicely decorated. - AWDBall
